  My salesperson was overall very nice. The problem I had was, they initially only offered me $500 for my trade-in, but when I rejected that amount, they immediately came back with an offer for $2,700. This did not make sense to me because they should have given me the best amount upfront, this made me not trust them. Also, the gentleman that did the financing paperwork offered me a lower interest rate if I agreed to purchase one of the maintenance packages. I was shocked because at the very beginning of this process, I was made to believe that the interest rate on the loan was final with no possibility to change; however, not true. I was willing to pay out of pocket for a maintenance package and asked if they had a cash deal and the financing gentleman said NO. This was the type of experience that make customers not trust car dealers. I have a beacon credit score of over 800; therefore, I should have been treated better.

  From start to finish, my experience at Sheehy VW of Springfield was absolutely exceptional and that’s all because of Ron Sowell. Ron was OUTSTANDING. He truly listened to my must-haves, respected my budget, and never once made me feel pressured. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me find the right vehicle for me...not just any vehicle. And let me tell you… he knocked it out of the park! The certified vehicle he helped me choose checks every single box and then some. I also want to give a huge thank you to Aymen, who worked diligently on the numbers. He took the time to walk me through everything and adjusted the options until I was completely comfortable and satisfied with my monthly payment, including the warranty. That level of care and transparency means everything. Car buying can sometimes feel overwhelming, but this experience was smooth, professional, and even enjoyable. I drove away not just with a beautiful certified vehicle, but with total peace of mind.   I had a wonderful experience purchasing my vehicle with David! This was my first time purchasing a car through a dealership and he made sure to explain everything thoroughly and walk me through everything! Both him and Jorge in the finance department were very kind and didn’t mind my 1,000 questions lol. Very thankful for them and i am obsessed with my new car ! thank you guys very much !

  I worked with Sam at Sheehy Volkswagen of Springfield and had a great experience. Sam is super nice, kind, and genuinely not pushy at all. He provided me with a printed quote on a vehicle in a matter of minutes was also very quick and flexible in responding to any requests or questions, which I really appreciated. Everyone I interacted with at the dealership seemed genuinely friendly and easy to work with. I’d absolutely recommend anyone looking for a Volkswagen to check them out. A great, low-pressure experience overall.

  I had a very disappointing experience at **Volkswagen of Springfield, VA** when I went in to purchase a 2025 Tiguan they had ready for me. From the beginning, the numbers were not transparent. They added a “VIP package” for over $1,000 that I did not request. When I asked for it to be removed, that’s when the issues started. As I carefully reviewed the pricing, I noticed they were charging me a delivery/destination fee on top of the MSRP that was already displayed on the vehicle’s window sticker. As most buyers know, the destination fee is already included in the MSRP. I brought this to the sales agent’s attention, but he refused to remove it and insisted it was “normal.” It is not normal to duplicate a fee that is already included in the manufacturer’s price. The manager then came over, and instead of resolving the issue, he made the situation worse. He questioned why I removed the VIP package and gave me a long explanation about why I “should” purchase it. I clearly stated that I did not want any VIP add-ons for a brand-new vehicle. I told him I was ready to move forward only if both the VIP package and the duplicated delivery fee were removed. He became visibly upset and told me the only way he could remove the duplicated delivery fee was if I agreed to keep the VIP package. That made absolutely no sense and felt completely unreasonable. At that point, I said if the fees couldn’t be removed, I would walk out. He said he couldn’t remove them — so I thanked him and left. The positive ending to this story is that I went to **Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles** and purchased my new 2025 Tiguan with a great, transparent deal and no hidden or duplicated fees. Thank you for the terrible experience in Springfield — it led me to a dealership that actually values honesty and professionalism. I strongly encourage anyone shopping there to carefully review every line item before signing anything. I will not be returning.
