- RJRonnell JohnsonMar 17, 20261.0Walked into the Ruther Glen, Va store today at 3pm. There only was 3 customers in the entire store. 2 of the customers were together and then myself. There were 2 ladies working at the counter. The younger lady was on the phone. As I stood at the counter waiting to be helped, the other customers were in front of me. The older lady behind the counter seemed to be searching for a part for someone online. We all stood there for about 10 minutes without being asked for help. After 10 minutes by, the younger lady hung up the phone and disappeared. The older lady then stared helping the customer in front of me. I waited another 10 minutes. Still only one lady at the register. At that point I had been in the store for 20 minutes without being helped, so I just walked out. My personal opinion, this store needs a little restructuring. There is no way that you not leave the register and have a customer just standing there. Once the Autozone is built nearby, Advance auto will lose business for sure.
