  The vehicle wasn't clean, it had an awful smell in it. Never Had such a hard time getting booked & getting service. Been with Enterprise for years don't know if I'm going to stay or not

  Very pleased with the Rocky Mount, VA location and their customer representative (Mike)..I definitely recommend them.

  Said they had a SUV or Truck Available for me to pick up at 9:00 am. Once arrived there they said they were sorry but they had neither available. A truck was on the lot but needed an oil change so I could not get it.

  I rented a car to pick up Monday 1/19 due to my car is being fixed. I was due to pick up the rental at 8 am. I tried calling them starting at 8 am and continued throughout the morning, after no answer around 9am, I called the Roanoke store and spoke to a representative who told me that there were people out today and that there should be someone there now to answer the phone so i can go pick up my rental. I called the rocky mount store back still no answer, after another hour of trying to contact the rocky mount office, I then called the Roanoke store back spoke to the same person. I suggested he call the guy on his cell phone since he was not picking up at the store so that I would know to come out there and pick up my car , he said he would call him and then call me right back. It is now 3 pm and I have not heard from anyone. I have called my insurance company back and cancelled this rental. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and not being able to get my rental car.

  Waited at this location an hour past opening (9am) for a reservation that was made two weeks prior. When I called customer service, they stated the worker had left to do a delivery and should be back momentarily. No sign posted to the door or any communication on the delay. After obliterating both mine and my husband's work schedules, I was able to finally get a rental around 10am. They were supposed to replace my 3rd row SUV with something similar. I was given a Jeep Compass where my rear facing child seat would not fit (2 car seats). Since this was supposed to be my daily driver for two weeks, this was not going to work. When I realized the seats did not fit, I returned inside and the worker informed me that there were no other options any larger than this. I was then on my own to contact the Martinsville location as well as 4 Roanoke locations where none of them happened to have any available SUV's. On day 3, I was finally able to get a Chevy Equinox, which is still only a small SUV but we could manage. The Equinox done well for no longer than we had it. Update: I returned my rental today at 8am. I was met with a different person than the one I originally dealt with. Very quick and efficient. We done a quick walk around and the key was returned quickly because of our cold weather. I was then contacted this afternoon by a "new manager" named Michael who asked how my experience was, and I was very honest. I will say Michael was very respectful and was able to comp a couple of fees for my inconvenience. Still not a great experience overall, but his communication and responsibility gives me a little hope for this place.
