I asked how much and was given a price which did not include a $12 labor charge. Had I known I was going to pay extra for 2 minutes of work<if that> along with the overpriced filter I would have done it myself. Please advise customers prior to them agreeing to replace an item there will also be a labor fee.

The Indian or Hispanic sounding man says "You can't replace it yourself?".... Excuse me? So I said "I don't have the screwdriver needed because it's not a Phillips or flat but I'm willing to pay for the convenience." So he says "Let me talk to my manager to see if we can help with this" What?? Next thing I know the manager is in the phone, and quotes $14 for a taillight bulb. So the next day before my shift, I go to the Franklin Road location at 10am for a taillight bulb change. Without even removing the housing... they tell me it's a wiring issue.... without even looking at the bulb or anything. Having talked to many people in my friends circle I was still prompted to check/change the bulb. $12 and FIVE MINUTES at Advance Auto it was fixed. Just stick to oil changes, Valvoline and leave everything else to the REAL experts.
