  Set up an appointment a few weeks before the service date. Received multiple reminders and a phone call to show on the appointment date. Arrived early only to find out that the windshield was scratched and that I could reschedule or see if the windshield would be acceptable to be installed. Multiple apologies were given however no customer service was offered for any restitution. Basically go away and reschedule. Remarkable to me that there was an attempt to even install a defective windshield and still pay my deductible in full while I had to call off of work a second time at my loss. I do not recommend Safelite.

  Scheduled two different appointments to have them come to my house and replace the windshield on my truck. The first appointment was cancelled at 4:00pm due to an accident the tech was involved in. Things happen, I understand, no problem. Scheduled another afternoon appointment, the 1st available isn’t for another week. Afternoon of the appointment day I hang around home waiting for the technician. About 3:30 I get a call to tell me they have to cancel again. This time because the technician didn't make it into work that morning but they forgot to call me earlier to cancel and reschedule. Don't waste your time we ith this location, very unreliable.

  Very unhappy with Safelite. I scheduled this appointment a month ago to occur Between 8 AM and noon. They sent me multiple confirmations, confirming the time and gave me specific requirements to meet such as where to park my car and how much gas to have in it. On the morning of the appointment, the service person calls me and says “I don’t know why they did this to me. They gave me four other appointments and you are last. I won’t get to you until after 3 PM.” No apology offered. When I called Safelite, I was told they would be happy to reschedule or I could cancel. Those were my only options.They could not care less. Just be prepared if you book with them—hey do not honor their time commitment and there’s nothing you can do about it.

  **Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Appointment Mishap at Safelite Richmond** To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my extreme frustration with the service I received from the Safelite location at 3201 Rosedale Ave, Richmond, VA 23230. I scheduled an appointment to replace my windshield well in advance and even prepaid the full amount, demonstrating my commitment to your service. The day before my scheduled appointment, a staff member from your Richmond location called to confirm that everything was on track, which I clearly communicated was essential for me. However, just minutes later, I received an email stating that my appointment had been rescheduled for a week later without any prior notice. This is completely unacceptable! I need this service completed urgently to pass my state inspection. To add insult to injury, this morning I received an email saying that my appointment was back on. I attempted to reach out to your location multiple times to resolve this issue, but I could not get anyone on the phone to assist me. This has been a deeply frustrating experience. It’s clear that customer service is no longer a priority for your company. If Safelite cannot uphold its commitments to paying customers, I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere. I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting Safelite with their windshield needs. If communication and customer satisfaction are not focal points for your company, I urge you to reconsider your approach.   I originally wanted to repair my windshield that had a quarter size chip and one the size of the tip of a nail. I go in and have the repair and yes they advise the Crack may be visible after repair. The issue I had was the Crack that was the tip of the nail was now the size of half a dollar bill very visible and the other Crack had doubled in size. I have had a Crack repaired before many years ago and never saw the Crack. Could be the change in the resin product they are using so I elected to replace the windsheild. All of the personal and staff were friendly and professional. They work well to get my new windshield done. 10 out of 10 on staff. Not so high marks on the resin product.
