I purchased a vehicle with a certified warranty, and within one week the ventilation system stopped working. I took the vehicle to Sheehy Ford of Richmond for warranty repairs, but instead of properly diagnosing and fixing the problem, they applied temporary fixes that did not resolve the issue. I returned the vehicle four separate times for the same problem, and each time the dealership failed to correct it. On the fourth visit, I was charged $1,016, which I paid in good faith believing the issue would finally be resolved. However, when I picked up the vehicle, the ventilation system still did not work. Based on this experience, it appears this dealership lacks the skill set or willingness to properly diagnose vehicle issues and instead only addresses what they believe or what the customer is told is wrong, then charges for it without fully repairing the problem. You cannot bring a vehicle here expecting a complete diagnosis and repair, as they will patch the issue, return the car, and keep you coming back repeatedly for the same unresolved problem, leaving you frustrated and out of pocket.

When I picked my car up I had to get it jumped and also plug a bunch of stuff which I do not know what up under the hood. Also the guy who supposedly worked on my car left my seats from being a clean beige to a black brown. And I’m talking to whole seats, visers and roof of my car smh I will NEVER EVER GO HERE AGAIN !! Also not to mention the way it all looks god only knows if they even did anything considering my car had a bunch of recalls on it and if they unplugged a bunch of stuff that I had to plug back in (not even knowing what I’m doing)They probably didn’t plug whole bunch of stuff in)smh God forbid if you have recalls!!
So I would like to thank Mikey Jonhson and everyone that had a hand in our purchase, at Sheehy Ford Ashland for his open and honest salesmanship, financing was great with a low % rate. He was very easy to work with, helped me get a discount other dealerships wouldn't even think of offering even though the other place is right outside of Ft. Lee Va. Mikey showed us the Kia we wanted, waited until my granddaughter arrived 45 minutes later, took her for a test drive, provided all the paperwork I requested. The Car fax, Service records, recall information, honesty, and stayed almost hours past closing time to finalize the great deal. If I had the power to do, I would give him a raise, seriously. My granddaughter loves the SUV, we (grandparents and her parents) feel safe how the car was maintained by the previous owner and all the maintenance Sheehy Ford Ashland performed to provide a safe and operational SUV. thank you for looking out, and I won't hesitate to return there for our next purchase. God bless.
I had a great experience with Sheehy Ford. They were able to complete my mandatory recall, 10,000 mile service, and diagnose my charging port issue all in about six hours. After dealing with another dealership that couldn’t get the recall done, Sheehy Ford handled it quickly and without any confusion.
What really stood out was the communication. They explained exactly what they did to complete the recall, answered all my questions, and were upfront about what part was needed to fix my USB and USB-C charging ports. They ordered the part right away and have continued to make the entire process easy and transparent, including keeping me updated on the part delivery.
Everyone I interacted with was professional, helpful, and respectful of my time. This was the kind of service experience you hope for, especially with a newer vehicle. I’ll definitely be returning here for future service.

Scam alert!! I was in the market to upgrade from my 2024 F150 to a new F250 for towing. I had shopped around and done the best price for my trade in was $39k from multiple dealers in writing. But I thought to keep it local would be best. When I spoke to the sales girl online they offered me $34k but if I came in they could probably do better. (Should have known better) Went in and test drove a 250, before they in person appraised my truck I showed them multiple other dealers offering the $39k for my truck. After my test drive they offered me $35k because of some unknown paint chips I had never seen before, and a check engine light that and I quote “ sometimes doesn’t appear on the dash, only on their scanner”. I took my truck immediately to sheehy’s service dept to find out what check engine light is on as the truck has 18k miles and they couldn’t find any….. this is a scam!!!! Later the sales lady texted me saying that even if I got the check engine light fixed the best they would offer is $35k so you know it is a fake. Very disappointing that they would do this to a disabled veteran. I won’t be shopping here again. I don’t think it was the sales lady that was behind this scam but the manager definitely was.
