Can’t trust their maintenance. Long story short. They didn’t install all the parts,
Lied to me about it, blamed me. Went in to swap from summer to winter tires. They didn’t install the tpms sensors, told me they did even after I drove the car back for them to double check. I found the sensors in my back seat once i got home as well as 1 tire 25 psi low. There was no leak, just wasn’t aired. Emailed the manager and explained how I found the parts not installed. She comp’d me for my last visit. Brought the car back in after waiting 2 weeks for an opening, they found out they miss-placed all the bolts that secure the sensors. Was told the bolts would arrive in 4 days. 3 weeks later still no parts, emailed the manager. No response. I decided to ask for a loaner this time. So once again I had to drive down. Emailed 3 weeks after that, this time I got a reply stating “ we have no eta on the parts, they are back ordered YOU didn’t supply all the parts, we’re excited to get our loaner back too and technically your car is drivable ”. Parts I didn’t supply? The same parts I found in my back seat, the same parts they told me they installed. Not to mention the car goes into limp mode and gets a drivetrain malfunction ( which is stored on the ecu as proof ) and wouldn’t go over 4k rpm, which I told her the first time I had an issue. I also stated they had lost the parts, not me, to which she relied this was the first time hearing of this. Um, no it’s not, that was clearly stated in the email she ignored on Dec 10th, and that’s why I ended up getting the loaner. I have all The emails as proof. 2 months later and I got my car back, besides Everett ( cool advisor) no apology, no “ hey we’re sorry for lying to you and making you drive over 450 miles and 2 wasted days of vacation and blaming you for not supplying the parts we lost” no gas card or free oil change. Nothing to make this situation right. There’s a lot missing here, but I had to drive 75 miles each way 4 times to resolve this, waited over 2 months for my car to be drivable. Imagine basically being told to chalk it up on a car which goes into limp mode and you don’t know all the parts missing, because the manager never told you when you asked. Then getting gaslighted for their errors. Accidents happen, don’t lie. It’s that simple. I can’t trust them. If it wasn’t for Audi of America to ask them questions, I’d probably still be waiting for my car.
