  The lied to my wife saying she needed a new battery because the current battery doesnt fit(it was a stock toyota battery the mounting hardware was loose). They also failed our state inspection due to bad wiper blades(the current ones work great). They will take advantage of unsuspecting women that dont know any better all to make 500 bucks. They are crooks and should have their state inspections services taken away for lying to customers. Stay away from them

  How have I not left a review yet?? Allen Tire is the best mechanic in Rva. I’ve been coming here for about a decade thanks to the annual Style Weekly rankings, and you must trust your community on this one (only paused when I moved out of the state). They are great at solving problems (solved a huge mystery problem with my sister’s car many years ago; did not stop until they figured out the problem), getting you taken care of quickly, and the staff are as friendly as can be (yay Steve!). I have never been ripped off here, and am always respected. I now live in Farmville and gladly make the drive for high quality service. Highly recommend!

  Had an emergency (tire blew out). Excellent, friendly service at the end of the day, without an appointment. They handled everything very quickly while I waited (about 1 hour turnaround, for three tires in the end since the rear two were much balder than I realized). Would absolutely go here again and would recommend their service

  I prefer to work on my own vehicles, but some things you have to take to a shop. I trust Allen Tire, they will explain what was done in detail and give you an honest price. Quick turnaround time as well.
