After customer in front of me finished their purchase, customer and cashier proceeded to have a long conversation about politics and baseball while i waited patiently in line as the only other customer in the store. I was not even acknowledged and left after 10 minutes of waiting patiently while they complained about the economy to each other. I will be buying my items on Amazon and not returning to this store again. Perhaps the problems they see with the economy are right in front of them.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
