Also, I was not expecting to be greeted like I was entering a luxury hotel, I was hoping they could help me install a battery and answer my questions. The parking lot was a perfect setup with the light for the install and my questions were answered in a kind of- straight forward no BS way.
- GKG KJan 6, 20261.0Terrible service over a simple lightbulb purchase I went in to buy a single headlight bulb. I only needed one, but there were none on the shelf, so I asked the cashier for help. He immediately insisted that I *had* to replace both headlights, even after I clearly told him I only wanted one. Eventually, he went to the aisle and found a single-pack bulb for me. While ringing it up, he kept lecturing me, saying that buying one bulb would cause problems and that the other headlight would go out soon. Then he claimed he would not “warranty” the bulb I was buying, even though the package clearly states it has a one-year manufacturer warranty. I don’t even care about the warranty, but it’s not his place to tell customers that he has authority over a manufacturer’s warranty. He’s a cashier, not an automotive technician. The whole interaction felt pushy, unprofessional, and unnecessary. Customers should be able to buy what they need without being talked down to or misinformed. I won’t be coming back to this location.

The other two sat there and watched me wait for 5 minutes until he finally decided to help me. Another customer walked in behind me and one of the girls sitting there immediately helped her. Amazing. She watched me stand there for 5 minutes and never offered to help. The guy that eventually decided to help me talked at the volume of a whisper. Constantly on his phone the whole time. Won't be back to this location.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
