UPDATED!!!: Got a call form the Regional Manager concerning my review below. He seemed very concerned and told me that he would look into the situation and call me back in a day or so. Well, it has been almost 2 weeks, I have left two messages for him and have received no response. Again, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO TIRE DISCOUNTERS - THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR VEHICLE.
At the end of December, I took my truck in for an alignment adjustment since I bought tires there for my truck. I told them the steering wheel was off centered and asked if the could fix that. They said sure not a problem. 90 minutes later, told me that they couldn't get it done because I needed a new rack and pinion. They said they could do it for $2100. I told them I would think about. Fast forward to yesterday, steering was really loose driving on interstate at speedlimit. I decided to get the rack replaced then. When I got home, my 15 year son was replacing the wiper arm and discovered one of the bolts that held the rack and pinion in place was completely backed out. Only thing that saved the bolt from being lost was the front shield, wouldn't let the bolt come completely out. Got down there to fix it, notice a second bolt had been backed out half way of the rack and pinion. I'm at a loss, my truck has 210,000+ miles, been serviced regularly so I don't think this happened just by itself. In my opinion, it is the technician's, that worked on my truck, incompetence. I will never take my vehicles to them ever again. This could have ended very badly.

Went for an oil change, even had an appointment and arrived early. Still ended up waiting for over 3 hours. Told them I wanted my tires rotated (yes I have one bad tire in the front need to be moved to the back) no issues in the past, but refused to do so. It’s a shame always liked going here I don’t know what’s changed, but won’t be going back…
The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.
