From day one, Rick and his team were extremely welcoming, receptive, and helpful. All services were established promptly and throughout our stay, anything that we needed from the marina was taken care of immediately. The facility is well taken care of, conveniently located, and has a great restaurant on site. We will definitely be back!

- JSJim Bob SchellOct 28, 20253.0We just spent 4 months on A dock in the marina. We loved our stay here, and the staff (with the exception of GM Rick) is very friendly. There are not a ton of active boat owners in this marina, but the ones who are there are great and there is a nice community, including a small live aboard group. The location is great with easy access to Portsmouth Old Towne, and a quick ferry ride to Norfolk across the river. The view of downtown Norfolk is also amazing. We really like the non-marina associated Fish N Slips restaurant and the staff there is awesome. They did a nice job over the summer of cultivating a fun music scene on the patio bar (daytime only, no late nights). The diesel fuel system had a major leak (in July of '25 I believe) and there has been no effort to repair it, so there is no diesel available at this time. This review would provide more stars however, if the GM Rick seemed to take customer service seriously. He is flippant and hot headed. Not once in 4 months did he bother to say hello or introduce himself to us. He drives the golf cart around recklessly, nearly hitting our child and his parked bike (parked against a fence), and he parks the golf cart in the middle of the dock so as to not allow passage. There are visible break skid marks all over the docks. When walking by him with a dock cart he didn't bother to move over enough to even allow us to pass. I don't think he doesn't care, he just is not good with client facing, and seems very fast to become enraged.
