The battery I was going to purchase did not require professional installation—it was a simple, standard drop-in replacement that I could have easily installed myself. However, when I asked for their help with the quick install (something most auto parts stores are usually happy to do), they refused. It wasn’t because of any safety issue, or under staffed or complex setup—it was a basic battery for a regular vehicle. Instead of helping a potential paying customer, they just turned me away with no explanation other than “we don’t install those.” To make things worse, I called customer service afterward hoping they could explain or help resolve the issue, but they were no help at all. I was basically told there’s nothing they could do. If you’re expecting friendly customer service or basic help after buying a product, I’d recommend taking your business somewhere else—like AutoZone or O’Reilly’s—where they actually assist their customers.
