  This is the only location in the country that has consistently screwed me over or let me down. Today's letdown: 230a late flight, was told it would be staffed until 3a, nobody here. National is great, with this location as the sole exception. Also, spoiler alert, every number they give you brings you to their wildly incompetent offshore call center. Also, there's no "skip the line" process here regardless of what they say. Sometimes they're at the desk, sometimes they're at the garage, but no matter what you're going to have to go to a counter (if someone is actually there) Edited regarding their response below; the support page they cite only allows for calls (offshore) and chat (offshore). Emailing or talking to a US-based National rep is nearly impossible.

  The staff was informative and professional. The process of renting and delivering the car was effortless. The car was what we had requested.

  The overall accommodations were excellent! 🌟 Ms. Julie at the Emerald counter was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and truly helped make my rental experience even better. 😊✨ The vehicle was spotless, super comfortable, and felt so luxurious—it made the whole trip that much more enjoyable! 🚗💨 When it was time to return the vehicle, the attendant was just as friendly, and the process was quick, smooth, and effortless. 🙌🏾 Because of this wonderful experience, National will definitely be my go-to rental company from now on! 💚 A huge thank you to Ms. Julie and the entire National team at the Norfolk Airport for such outstanding service! 👏🏾✨

  This location at Norfolk airport always has fast service, clean cars, a great selection and most importantly great people, both on the front end and back end. Truly an exceptional team and experience.
