Used Vehicle Purchase Review:
I had been searching for a specific spec SUV all over the country and Galaxy Motors had one. I reached out to Galaxy from several states and hours away and dealt with Emir & Kasim, to ask questions about the vehicle. They provided a free carfax which is a good sign and also sent me additional videos and pictures of the entire truck, under, truck running, etc. Because I was reaching out from far away, I wanted to send a mechanic to perform a pre-purchase inspection on my behalf, which Galaxy had no problems with.
After the inspection, I was provided with a report from the mechanic and then had a conversation with Emir about what was found and what could be negotiated on price. Overall, the truck was in great condition, but they were willing to work with me on some things that were flagged and we agreed on a price that was fair for both of us.
I wanted to send a deposit to lock in the truck since I am far away, but Emir wanted to do one last walk through with me over FaceTime to make sure I was satisfied, I agreed.
During the walk through, it was discovered that some buttons on the dashboard did not work at all, Emir knew my mechanic did not inspect these parts and did not want me to put a deposit down b/c he knew this.
This is a sign of a good, honest dealership.
Naturally, I was now not as excited to put a deposit down, so, Emir found the part online, ordered it, sent me a picture of the order and told me they would install it and get back to me.
At this point, I thought this truck was going to fall through, so I went back to my search for other SUVs. Then a week later, he reaches back out and tells me the part has been installed and everything is working properly. I was a bit skeptical by his message as I though I was having my leg pulled. But during another video, he showed me the working part, so I told him the deal was back on and I would be flying down later that week.
I sent him a screenshot of my flight confirmation with a request asking him to not to sell the vehicle. He actually took down the posting from their website, so I knew I would not be screwed flying down for a truck that had already been sold.
I had planned to arrive before they normally open and Emir was happy to meet me there early to make it happen.
When I got there, I inspected the vehicle again myself, took it on a test drive and was satisfied with the situation. We did the paperwork, I paid in cash and I was on my way. I drove home 8 hours in this truck and it made it home no problem, no issues at all.
I recommend this dealership.
Do your own due-diligence, research the car, send a mechanic or bring one with you.
In the end, they are just selling used cars like many people trying to make a living.
They are very reasonable with each situation and are willing to make a deal if you are.
