I told them I wanted the entry level of a part. She charged me $80 for it. I looked it up on THEIR website and could find parts for as low as $35 and everywhere in between. I hope your happy ripping off a single father of 3 just trying to survive. Enjoy your commission check!

Then says, "I don't know about cars; I just work here." Wow, anyway, I was just about to leave because what's the point? A white gentleman with blonde hair was on ready to help and got me a discount. I would of gave 5stars if my only interaction was just with him.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
