I asked Lee’s Upholstery, “Does your shop install lumbar support devices or could you firm up a seat to provide improved support?” In my explanation, I added that I purchased a new truck and the existing lumbar support doesn’t adjust low enough. I further asked if an option existed to upgrade through seat replacement. I was told, “No, it doesn’t work that way.” He further commented, "Maybe you should have test driven the vehicle before you bought it.” I felt like he was making fun of my situation or scolded for making a mistake. In short, I did test drive my truck. Like many people, I have a lower back issue that require additional steps to ensure good posture and comfort. Unfortunately for Lee’s Upholstery, you will never get my business. I will recommend customers to stay far away from you. Your unprofessional behavior should be communicated more widely. If you didn’t want the business, just say so. Don’t be a jerk in the process.
