  This is the 2nd time we have use American Auto Glass... called got an estimate. They came out the next day and replaced my windshield.. They were VERY knowledgeable and professional!! Did and outstanding job both time!!! Highly recomend them!!! Thank You!!!

  WARNING!!! i called American Auto Glass over the weekend 29JUNE2022. Spoke to a gentleman, informed me that they were closed and gave me a "soft" appointment for Monday 1JULY2022 at around 930-10am. I get there around 930am, no one is there, I call the number listed, gentleman answers and informs me to park my truck there and drop the key off in the mail box next to their door. I'm a little concerned but I have a flight and i need to repair my windshield before i depart. I call about 5 hours later (230ish) and he informs me that "his guy" has been calling me and that i haven't answered my phone. I inform him that no one has called me and he says his guy has called me "FOUR" times. He says he'll have his guy call me once we hang up. An hour to an hour and a half pass by, no phone call so then i call the number listed again and it goes straight to voicemail. i start getting concerned now because i have a flight, the job takes about 30-40 minutes and now the gentleman is not answering my phone calls. I drive to the business to physically check on the status of my truck at around 3-4pm and again no one is there, my truck is where i left it and my key is missing from the mailbox. I call the gentleman whom I've been communicating and he declines my phone calls and is no longer replying to my msgs. I call the police to file a report for my protection since the person whom I've been speaking to is refusing to communicate with me about "MY" truck, simultaneously a van pulls up with two gentleman who inform me that they had been calling the wrong number and they apologized in behalf of whom I'd been speaking to and believe to be "Billy". They tell me they can do it in 20 minutes and reassure me, I'm desperate for repairing my windshield because I'm flying out of town for a few weeks and i don't want my windshield to crack while I'm gone so i go through with it. They replaced my windshield but they damaged and did not replace my rubber seal on my windshield cowl. I'm not from Virginia, I'm associated to the military, kind of navigating blind. I should have read the reviews before. That same day i texted them pictures of the rubber seal pics and ask them if they are suppose to look like this after repair, he "read" the text and as of 12 hours he still has not replied. I don't believe in bashing business' because i understand ppl go through stuff and busy schedules but communicate with your customers. Don't be rude and create a toxic environment for your workers. Since you refuse to answer my text msgs I hope you read this and learn how to conduct yourself professionally, you have my number, be a man and don't expose your workers to your bs.

  DO NOT USE, RUN FAR AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM! I SHOULD HAVE READ THE YELP REVIEWS BEFORE USING THEM! They had the cheapest price and sounded really great on the phone. The guy who answered was kind of a douche but for how cheap the windshield was i really couldnt think to say no. I should have known cheap does not mean good. The glass they put in literally had scratches after i came home from work to see it. to add to that theres multiple scratches on my paint that go down to metal! I called to get this fixed, THE SAME GUY PICKED UP AND ACTED LIKE THEY NEVER WORKED ON MY VEHICLE. I drove by to their location on indsutrial to confront them in person and it doesnt even exist! This entire company is a front. They have a alledged location in the VA beach area that has reviews just like this! this. To top on all of that literally yesterday it broke! there's no impact mark or anything I woke up and saw the thing cracked from edge to side. I'm searching now for a good company to fix this, but this is insane. AVOID AVOID AVOID
