An associate always gives my technicians a hard time as we need to have the receipt printed through our business, but this associate refuses forcing my technicians to pay out of pocket thus having to recoup from our customers. Very unprofessional. The associate name is Liam and is very rude and surly…he did not follow protocol and call the business number or take the technician ID. What is the point of having a commercial account if we in the end have to appear unprofessional and recoup part cost from customers with a regular printed receipt. We only experience this in Newport News and twice it has been with Leam. I’m really considering finding another supplier .

He then tested my alternator and started to make sure those were working well. He said they were good to go for my next morning 5, hr drive. I was so happy that he helped me. I felt he provided good service and he was honest! I feel confident about my travels tomorrow!!! Thank you so much Junior for saving me a huge headache and possibly mountain of a tow bill!!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
