Tried another local mechanic and they couldn't figure it out. Saw Don's on the internet and decided to give them a try. The experience was great, very professional and they did give me an explanation for the intermittent light. And although they couldn't repair the problem, due to it being a possible recall issue, this was the closest I've come to a resolution to my issue. Thanks Don's. I will return for any possible services I may need in the future.
