  I would have given 5 stars until I realized my EZ Pass transponder was missing. As professionals, how do you forget to transfer a transponder to a new windshield? I called customer service, who communicated trying to reach this specific location but could not reach anyone, so a message was left. My windshield was installed weeks ago and I still have not heard back from anyone. I had to purchase a new transponder. It was not expensive but that's not the issue here. Do better!

  We had the most frustrating experience with Safelite, although I have no idea if it was the local office or corporate. First I was scheduled in a completely different state, then two different windshields came in with a scratch. My next appointment was delayed again due to lack of technicians, and when they finally did arrive, we were quoted three times the price we were given on the phone and had to call them to get it straightened out. Their phone system is exasperating, which inundates you with a long list of questions before reaching customer service, IF the automated service understands you at all. Sadly, every time I hear their commercials now, I want to run for the hills!

  I made an appointment which apparently meant nothing. Dropped my car off at 830a for a 930a appointment. I received a text stating that I would receive texts throughout the day. By 4pm, I heard nothing and had no way to contact the store and when I contacted the toll free number, it was less than helpful. I was told that the store manager would be contacting me. It is now 425pm and I have heard nothing from anyone. We just got to the store and they just brought my car back. The store closes at 5pm. I would have appreciated honesty such as, “your car will be ready at 5pm”

  I want to commend the exceptional service I received during my recent appointment. My technician was easily one of the most professional and well-informed individuals I’ve encountered in any service-based industry. Not only was the window repair completed with expert precision and impressive speed, but the tech also took the time to walk me through every detail I needed to know. To be honest, my first experience with Safelite a few years ago was quite poor, and I only returned this time for the sake of convenience. However, this experience completely changed my perspective. Based on the quality of work and the technician's expertise, I would not hesitate to use Safelite again and will gladly recommend your services to others.

  Quite possibly the worst experience of any repair shop I have been to. I guess this is to be expected from a national company that has settled fraud lawsuits and sexual harassment complaints. Just google Safelite lawsuits. Know your rights. Your insurance company may steer you towards Safelite because of a business agreement, but you have the right to choose other shops. Patronize smaller, more reputable shops. My insurance company scheduled a windshield replacement at the Hull st Safelite for noon on 2/18. It was scheduled for a replacement while I wait. Upon arrival, I was told by the front desk that a Tesla windshield replacement would take 4-5 hours. I choose to reschedule (because I didn’t want to wait in the lobby 4 hours) for the next day to drop off the car and come back for pickup. I dropped my car off around 8:15 am. Around 4:30 pm, I had not heard anything from safelite so I tried to call the location. Multiple attempts to reach the shop directly were all transferred to a national call center and I could never reach the technician directly. One call center person said they talked to the technician and the windshield had been replaced and they were still working on the calibration. I went to the station and arrived shortly after 5 p.m. When I asked to pick up my car there was a lot of confusion. They didn’t know where my key was. They attempted to give me someone else’s car. And they were not even sure which car was mine. Eventually, they came to me and said the service wasn’t completed and I would have to reschedule. They would not acknowledge that they made a mistake and lost track of my repair. In 9 hours, my car had not moved from where I parked it. In addition, the staff was dismissive and quite rude. Of course I did not reschedule and had my windshield replaced somewhere else.
