Long story short, after my windshield replacement at winchester there was large streaks, a big hand print, and a few fingerprints & smuges. The vehicle had been cleaned inside and out multiple times, but the markings never came off. My 3rd time at winchester they claimed to have just cleaned the windshield. Said they didn't see the markings and thought that I dropped my vehicle off with them for the whole day, had someone take me to and from there, just for them to clean the windshield... I did my 4th rescheduled with this manassas location, I was worried at 1st when the gentlemen at the desk said they would have to clean the windshield rather than replace. But the tech, I believe his name is Ivan, said he would look into it. He took my car back into their shop and within maybe 3 minutes he came back and said he does see the markings, they will not come off and he will replace it. Him and a family member, who worked at safelite, both said they never saw this situation before and that it was very clear the previous tech did not wear gloves or use caution. Online, safelite says to allow 3hrs for replacement & calibration. So I expect to be there a few hours, Ivan had said it will be about 2hrs, but he got it done in an hour. Aside from some minor marks that just look like cleaner that was missed and I am sure will wipe right off, so far so good. Not sure why this location has less stars than winchester, but my experience here was far better than the other location!

Other than going online to book teh appointment, the only thing I had to do was to hand over the keys to the technician after he showed up at my home at the pre-agreed time. I had pre-entered my payment method, so I didn't even have to pull out a credit cared once the work was completed. And the total cost was lower than my insurance deductible. Very happy.

I had to have 2 separate appointments only because the 1st day, the technician saw a flaw on my new windshield sensor, so he quickly handled it and had me rescheduled that same week for a new glass. I was happy because he didnt try to "make it work" which I really appreciated. The end technician who did put in my windshield was also super polite, clean, and did a great job. They were able to do everything at Fauquier Hospital employee parking lot, where I work. That was worth it not to have to take a day off to get my glass replaced. They even recalibrated my driving sensors. 10 out of 10 recommend!
