  The young men that work at this location are so nice. They are professional and willing to go the extra mile. HOWEVER! The company has decided to implement a "call center" answering service. What a joke! First the lady answering the phone, you could barely understand and she didn't understand me. She scheduled me for a time which wasn't good for me so she changed it for 30 minutes later. After she hung up a very nice young man called to tell me he didn't have an opening for either of the times and scheduled me 30 minutes later, which was perfectly fine. The worst thing any company can do is to take away the ability for employees at a body shop to answer their own phones. Someone in a call center hundreds of miles away has no clue what's going on in any shop. I have been around body shops and tire places all across the United States and NONE OF THEM use a call center. You can't possibly know what an inconvenience that you created for your employees. Customers want to talk to the guys at the shop about something as important as their transportation. Get a secretary if you have too but put her at the shop behind the desk, not hundreds of miles away in a call center.

  I honestly have never done a negative review for a car repair shop. They replaced my daughter‘s four tires when she had a blowout. They did great on this part of the repair. She needed to go back for an inspection and what they said was a free alignment. When we got there, we were told that she needed front brake pads, suspension fixed and rotors. They quoted my Daughter $1700 and did not know I was on the phone listening. When I got on the phone, the gentleman on the phone quickly stuttered and change well you don’t absolutely need rotors you may need rotors. Then he changed the total to $1500 for her repair and inspection again asked why he repeated why I told him that our car was regularly serviced at Harris Tire in Lynchburg and I would be taking it there for a second opinion. I just left Harris Tire the car just needed two new front brake pads. It was a difference of $227 compared to the $1500. Mr. Tire quoted me. None of the other repairs needed to be made. I just want people to know that there is not honest work being done. I understand the manager was not there yesterday and that could make a difference. However, I think others should know that it was a difference of a significant amount of money and they were trying to take advantage of a teenage girl with her car. Thankfully, I was with her when she took it and picked it up and was able to advocate for her. But I would like others to know the experience so that they do not experience the same thing and do not get ripped off trusting their word.

  The worst morning of my life was actually a blessing in disguise at Mr. Tire. The morning my mom passed away I stopped in to just grab tires to make it to my dad safely. I was visibly upset and just wanted to get on the road. Unfortunately the tires weren’t there but Tyler was able to locate them locally and got them there quickly. I ordered three but he was invested and kind enough to say I may only need two and he would have the tech make sure, something he didn’t have to do. I knew my brakes were rough but he came to me and was honest about just how bad they were and how of he didn’t know what was going on he would just mention it at the end but he wanted me to not risk needing a full break service AFTER the long trip. Unfortunately during the pad replacement the caliber was damaged or was already Not sure BUT Tyler found a same day replacement and was able to make sure I arrived to my destination with no issue. The ride was great and the brakes were definitely needed haha. I am so thankful for the experience and personal care and support I received. Tyler was so kind as to talk with me and get me to a place where I could make the trip physically and emotionally that goes far beyond day to day customer service! Appreciate the crew at Mr Tire and will be back!
