  They had the car that I was looking for. Well, they had it at one of their other dealerships, but they were happy to get it to Lynchburg for me. David, my salesperson listened and made the deal happen. After being in a horrible car wreck in 2024 I wanted to safe car and that's why I wanted a Volvo! Thank you, David and coworkers for making the deal happen. I would be happy to refer them to anyone I know.

  Traveling from Atlanta north through Virginia and an engine light came on my XC90 : They were of no help and wouldn’t even look or make a suggestion other than to go to The Volvo dealership in Charlottesville . I called Charlottesville from the parking lot and the head of service walked me through a number of possible issues over the phone which I was able to get fixed the next day . This dealership sucked and in reality is a BMW dealership that could care less about Volvo owners .

  I cannot rate their sales department, as I have not purchased a Volvo here (and 100% will not due to the poor experiences with their service department). My experiences here have continued to be so poor- I am debating not getting another Volvo. Unfortunately, I’ve had to continue to use their service due to my car being under Volvo warranty (during this time, they had changed service people 3 times- which I get can be rough but when you have to call 2-3 times for someone to answer the phone- wow). I will go there, wait an hour, and the problem still isn’t solved, I will have to go in google, call Volvo corporate, and go back to explain to them what needs to be done. Lol. Wow. To call them is a pain, to get them to diagnose your car is a pain, and when you get your car back from one of their 10 miles services- you aren’t quite sure what was done as stuff is still missing or problems you didn’t have before arises! If another dealership has the program - where they pick up your car and service it- do that (or you’ll 1) be stuck at the dealership forever 2) be without a car). Save yourself a headache with their poor communication and constant turn over in staff. Id hate to give a business one star.. but with mine and my husbands constant frustration with them. They deserve it.
