The tires on the vehicle are new and properly inflated. We provided a new sensor, because we thought that was the problem, but told Mr. Tire to assess the situation and give us a quote for repair. The quote was appx. 275.00. And I verbally agreed for the repair as long as they guaranteed this would fix the problem. The work was performed on 10/31 or the day before, because that's when the credit charge cleared. When my daughter first took the vehicle back, they said she had to get the vehicle to 50 mph for at least 30 minutes. I agreed with that assessment and even though she had driven it several days, I took the vehicle on a 60 mph drive to Charlottesville and the light still goes off and on. When taking the vehicle back to Mr. Tire the second time, they said because of the change of temperatures it could take up to 30 days. They never said this before. I've had the light reset several times over the years, and a sensor replaced. It has always reset after driving a short distance. Nothing online. Or nothing from the manufacturer says it takes 30 days. I called up and was in the process of asking the manager if they could make sure another sensor wasn't bad, or if there was a different problem possibly. And in I a nice non threatening way told him, I thought they were bs ing my daughter. He then said I've been doing this 30 years and hung up. By the way the temperature did get cold for 2 days, but has been consistently in the 60s and a few days last week in the 70s. I recommend staying away from this business. After asking 3 times could they just check out the problem. And the answer has been it will be OK after 30 days. No attempt to even reset or check the vehicle out.
