  I rented a couple cars here before will not do it again took you 5-hour trip north to the hospital I'm a transplant patient got severely sick on the way up made it to the hospital I was admitted diagnosed with ammonia this was a Thursday morning ended up staying in the hospital overnight didn't get out until later on Friday evening didn't get the car back late Friday they still charged me for the whole weekend it was a medical emergency apparently this company does not cater to seniors or transplant patients or any medical emergency that happens to a person on the way to their destiny this company does not care all they care about is money so I will not be renting a car from here anymore ended up paying for the whole weekend The one day trip that cost $134 now it's going to cost me $500 to $600 just because I had a medical emergency so I give this company a no-star and whenever use them again and recommend if you're elderly and you're sick do not use this company

  Worst enterprise in the state of VA. The workers are as helpful as the paint peeling from the wall. We got our rental booked at 3pm and strictly had a meeting we had to get to. Well the workers sold all the cars irresponsibly and had me sit and wait until 5pm for another car to return. I missed a meeting and I had a make up meeting the day of returning the vehicle and was told I would be charged another day due to being an hour late when they were 2 HOURS LATE. Disgusting I will never be back stick to local rental shops.

  What a disappointing experience ! I went to the Enterprise website, reserved a car for a 10am pickup on a Friday. I received a confirmation email and thought everything was good. I have rented from Enterprise on various vacations throughout the years and always found them to be pleasant, reasonable and accommodating. This time, however, I got a ride to the rental location in Lexington VA, and was told, sorry, we don’t have a car for you. The representative said he tried to call and that no one answered, and my mailbox was full. I never received a call, and my mailbox is NEVER full. His offer was for a rental car on the following Tuesday. My need was for a car that Friday, not Tuesday ! The representative said he contacted other locations by text and no cars were available. I ask why you just don’t call them , but that was too reasonable. As I continued to question how this happens the representative kept saying, “I don’t usually work this location”. He explained that the individual Enterprise locations control availability. To which point I directly asked, “So, you can just lie and say a car is available when it actually is not?!” His answer was a plain, YES. I then called the Staunton VA location, and they said they had cars available. As was explaining that the Lexington location said that Stanton had nothing available and I wanted to be sure, they hung up on me ! ! This whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth and there was no attempt at all at reasonable explanation. I cannot believe that Enterprise as a company with extensive online resources for reservations cannot verify that cars are available at various rental locations. I would certainly suggest if you planned to use Enterprise: verify, double check and have a back up plan. I for one, will be looking elsewhere. And if this is just a local issue with Lexington and Staunton maybe there needs to be some upper management retraining !
