I walk in make eye contact with older while lady,brunette long hair_ rolls her eyes at me walks in the back! Waited ,only second line! Continued to wait! Avoid this reckless Hole! I went next door too O Rileys, Very friendly had to wait a few but was taken care of way sooner and only one cashier instead of two! Go O Rileys Auto Parts ! Only Gave 1 star so this review could be posted, Do Not Go To Advanced Auto Parts in Oaklawn blvd,Hopewell va! Avoid this place! And watch out for the managers kid in the pack N play near cash registers near battery testing area!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
