I brought my 2022 Ram 1500 in for an oil change and a rear differential service. The work was supposedly “completed,” but after only a few thousand miles, my axle bearings burned up. I had a qualified mechanic inspect the issue, and the cause was simple: this shop underfilled my rear differential by almost a full quart, which caused the bearings to overheat and fail due to lack of lubrication. And no — the day Valvoline serviced my truck, I didn’t check the fill level afterward, because I made the reasonable assumption that licensed mechanics could handle a basic differential service without sabotaging my truck. Thankfully, I caught the issue before it caused catastrophic damage, but on a vehicle with only 118,000 miles, this is not a repair I should’ve had to deal with at all. It was completely avoidable, and it was 100% the result of negligence and incompetence. The repair bill to correct what they caused cost me in excess of $500. I’m confident Valvoline will never admit fault, and I’m equally confident that pursuing it legally would go nowhere — they have deeper pockets and better lawyers than I’m interested in paying for. They’ll deny responsibility because, of course they will. But I can do this: I will never take my vehicles here again, and I will never recommend this place to anyone — ever. And I sincerely hope this review reaches as far as possible and impacts their revenue accordingly, because a business that operates at this level of carelessness does not deserve to stay in business. If you’re considering this location, understand that they can probably handle an oil change — but anything beyond that is apparently a gamble with your vehicle.

Ian performed concierge type service; he was efficient, knowledgeable, kind with no hard sell. Kevin was the mechanic and performed the service very quickly. While I do miss getting my car vacuumed like with that other company, I do not miss the high-pressure sales tactics. I will definitely return to Valvoline for my next oil change.
