- MDMichael DSep 8, 20254.0I’ve visited the Advance Auto Parts in Westlake several times recently, I’ve noticed a reoccurring issue with the checkout system.. a few occasions, when purchasing items like oil or wiper blades, the items wouldn’t scan properly. The employees are friendly.. they’ve been as helpful as they can in trying to resolve it, often spending 5-10 minutes troubleshooting (once almost 20!) it seems they have to call over a manager, and the wait time for assistance can sometimes be kinda long, especially when the store is busy.. I waited once 35 minutes. The manager usually ends up manually entering the item. I’m just wondering if there might be a system glitch that could be addressed, as it seems to be a frequent problem. Even the employee, I think Chris, told me it’s been happening a lot since a system update. He told me I’m not the only one who’s complained and he’s very sorry.
