- MBMichael Brookman5 days ago5.0On November 17th purchased new tires from Tire Choice on W. Mercury Blvd in Hampton. Steve Albert, the store manager, was very nice and helpful. Since it was going to take a couple of hours to install the new tires Steve suggested Nate, one his employees, take me home to wait. When the work was done they would come and get me. I thought that was a great idea and was driven to my home. After waiting several hours Nate picked me up and I returned to the Tire Choice. Everything was ready. And I got the tires I wanted at good price. At this time Steve apologized for taking so long. He said shortly after dropping my car off Steve's business suffered a power loss stopping all work. Not wanting to waste time waiting for the power to come back on Steve took my Tahoe to another tire shop to swap out the tires. All the work was done to my satisfaction. I thought that was innovative thinking to get the job done. Thanks, Steve.

I reluctantly accepted since I have to drive this car across the country soon. They got it back to me same day and for a couple of weeks it was fine. But last week the check engine light came back on. Now the code shows there's a LARGE emissions leak, transmission issues, and the EMC is messed up. My car is worse off than when I brought it in! There's no way they missed all those issues when they were supposedly checking and tuning up the entire engine, and I'm not convinced they didn't cause them.
