Short walk to a Food Lion grocery store, and Surf Rider restaurant on site. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Marina staff are the nicest folks we've met so far on our trip South.

- CBCindy BalfourJun 18, 20255.0Blue Water Safe Harbor is a large marina, across from Norfolk just on the edge of Hampton VA. Floating Docks make tie up easy and getting on off the boat is always doable. All staff are friendly and knowledgeable, pump out fuel and haul out services are available. Nice bathrooms/ showers, all clean and there is a pool and restaurant on site. The downtown area is a water taxi or Uber ride away as is grocery and other services.
- RHRyan HendersonNov 6, 20245.0We spent two nights here on our southbound trip and another two on our way back north. The marina, boatyard, and restaurant were all fantastic! The marina staff were super friendly and helpful, and the marina itself was beautiful with floating docks and a well-maintained facility. On our way north, our second stop, I went to the boatyard to ask about changing my transducer. To my surprise, they had my exact model in stock! The next morning, they were able to short haul and replace the transducer right away. Within a few hours, we were back in the water and on our way. The boatyard crew were professional and efficient! I would definitely recommend this yard for any boat repairs.
