  There is always some crap with them. I guess now if there is any wear or damage to your drivers license they can’t rent to you. It doesn’t matter that your licenses are still accepted everywhere else. Just not there.

  After getting in an accident on 1-77S and being 9 hrs away from home the lady who operates the desk at this enterprise went above and beyond to get my family into a rental that fit us all in a matter of hours.

  I made a reservation over 2 weeks in advance for a specific sized SUV only to be called, on the day of pickup, a couple of hours before the set time that they didn't have it. They did offer a minivan which was no where near filling the needs required. I can't transport 6 people, along with tools, to a project 400 miles away in a Minivan. They had plenty of time, from the date I made the reservation to the pickup date, to have one transferred in. Stating what a bind that it put me in I asked if they could check with other locations to see if there might be one available, to which the person replied that they couldn't do that nor would they give me a number to the nearest location to them. Seriously! I made one call to another nearby location and upon explaining the situation the person quickly went to work and found what I needed but it was an hour and a half away. So my wife and I went to pick it up. This makes the third time this has happened at this location. The two prior times I settled for less than what was reserved. I try to use this location since it is less than 30 minutes away from my home. From now on I will go to the one an hour and a half away before I use the one in Galax again. Enterprise needs to shut this joke of a place down immediately. The other location kept apologizing for what had happened, even though they had nothing to do with it. They did give me a lower rate to offset the total lack of professionalism and service from the Galax location. They don't deserve the 1 star that I had to give them in order to post this review.

  Disappointed and frustrating experience. I made a reservation a full month in advance, only to receive a call one hour before pickup informing me that no vehicles were available. This situation could have been avoided with proper communication, yet Enterprise chose not to notify me sooner. The customer service representative showed little effort or skill in problem-solving and essentially told me I was out of luck. As a result, my plans to attend a conference—along with a hotel reservation—were jeopardized, and there was no sense of concern or accountability from Enterprise. A reservation should mean something. This experience showed a complete lack of reliability and customer care. Shame on you, Enterprise. You deserve ZERO stars.

  Can’t even get us a reservation when we call and lied to us about getting picked up when we broke down and are good for nothing
