If you are buying all cash, this is the place. However, if you are trading your vehicle I would not recommend this place.. they would give you some rediculous trade in value and tell you to goto Carmax that is 10 minutes away to sell the car there and bring the check. I m like.. what the heck?? First time I seen dealers not matching and not even bother trying to find a reasonable trade in value..

I was in the market for a truck and had already visited the competition, e.g., Chevy and Ram dealerships which provided me their Out-the-door price ... Purvis Ford was my last stop. My sales rep, Andrews Ohemeng, was on point and made this process seamless and enjoyable. Now came to get the deal done. Gave Andrews all my info to include the CarMax quote (Radley and Safford honor this via agreement with CarMax and said it is dealership wide). The general manager, David Eadie, decided to not honor it and gave me $2,000 less. On top of that negated the military discount. Went back-and-forth but he would not budge but asked if I'd put anything down. Granted this would bring price down to matching Safford's for their Ram 1500 and would make the choice to pick the F150 that much easier. Needless to say I was "allowed" to walk out without a sale. To me it seems David put profit over client and forgot the reason Purvis won Best of the 'Burg for 2025. I am happy with my purchase and it was not the F150 which was my front runner. Nevertheless see Andrews if you are in the market. Maybe you'll have a better chance than I did. Good luck!

Won’t be going to this service department again. Heads up: if you make a service appointment, it’s not an appointment. I made an appointment a week in advance and dropped off my Ford for its first 5,000 mile service, aka oil change. I came back 3 hours later and they hadn’t even taken it back yet! After asking about my appointment they said it was only an appointment for a drop off time! Who does that? So I figure I’ll wait there for them to take care of it but had no idea it would take them another 3 hours to finally finish the job. When I saw my truck finished back in the service lane I asked if I could take it. The other 5 employees told me my advisor was out to lunch and none of them had any intention to pick up the slack and get me out of there. Only after insisting someone else close me out did they help me. If I hadn’t asked they would’ve left me sitting in the waiting area another hour if I let them. If you like 6 hour oil changes scheduled a week in advance this is the place for you.

We are very grateful to Karen Zelaya, the Service Manager who handled our vehicle repairs. Our 2010 Ford Fusion Sport was disabled and towed to Purvis Ford on the afternoon of Friday, December 26th. We were on our way back home to NC with another 5 hours ahead of us to get there. Basically we were stranded in Fredericksburg with no car to go anywhere, no change of clothes and almost out of our Rx medications. The primary source of our car's failure was a bad alternator that wasn't functioning and needed to be replaced. Karen appreciated our predicament and worked tirelessly to get us back on the road as soon as she possibly could. Less than 24 hours from the time it was towed in, our car was completely repaired and we were able to return home by Saturday evening. My wife and I just want to Thank Karen and her mechanics for all they did to help us and the exceptional service that we received. Purvis Ford is a fantastic place to have your car serviced and we would highly recommend their Service Department to anyone. Karen Zelaya went above and beyond to salvage our trip back home and we greatly appreciate all she did for us.

I am a professional mechanic, and this was one of the most frustrating dealership experiences I’ve had.
A customer brought me a 2020 Ford Transit. I diagnosed the vehicle and confirmed the climate control module was bad. I ordered the replacement directly from this Ford dealership, installed it, and then called them to ask about programming. I was told to bring the vehicle in and that programming would cost $195.
I dropped off the vehicle and signed the paperwork agreeing to the $195 programming fee. After two days, they called and said the module would not program and that the vehicle needed a gateway module, and quoted me around $700+ to install and program it.
I told them not to install it, and instead asked them to order the gateway module for me, which I again purchased from this same Ford dealership. When I picked it up, they said they would still charge me for “programming,” even though nothing was programmed.
I took the vehicle back to my shop and installed the gateway module myself. The installation took less than one minute—two 8mm bolts and one connector.
I then called this dealership again to program the modules. When I went to drop the vehicle off, they tried to charge me another $195, even though I had already paid once and no programming had been completed. Before leaving, I asked to confirm the charge, and I was told they would charge me $195 per module, totaling nearly $400, which was never disclosed to me beforehand.
I refused the service and left.
I then called a different Ford dealership in Richmond, explained the situation, and they told me clearly that programming should only be charged once and quoted me $195 total, not per module.
I called back to inform this dealership of what the Richmond Ford dealer told me, and they showed no interest in correcting the situation or working with me.
If this is how they treat a professional mechanic who understands the work involved, I can only imagine how regular customers are treated. Charging hundreds of dollars for a gateway module that takes one minute to install, and attempting to double-charge for programming, is unacceptable.
I strongly recommend customers be very careful and get pricing in writing before agreeing to any service.
