The Mendoza Family

We recently purchased a vehicle through Enterprise Car Sales after being referred by an employee at the Culpeper rental branch. We needed to replace our family vehicle after it was totaled in an accident, so we looked through their inventory and decided to make the trip without an appointment. That’s when we were introduced to Pete Reed.
From the initial conversation, through the test drive, and into the follow-up and paperwork, Pete was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was kind, professional, respectful, and, most importantly for us, he respected our preference for a no-pressure experience. We’ve had situations in the past where salespeople were overly pushy, and that’s something we’re not comfortable with. I made that clear upfront, and Pete immediately respected it.
He gave us the space to inspect the vehicle on our own, walked us through the test drive, and answered questions without ever making us feel rushed or pressured. When we left to look at other options in the area, he didn’t push us to stay or try to force a decision, which really stood out to us.
After comparing other options, we realized how much we liked the vehicle Pete had shown us, so we reached back out to him and started working through the process. Once we secured financing through our bank, we returned and continued the process with him. He helped coordinate a repair that needed to be addressed and worked with us through the final steps without adding unnecessary pressure or pushing extras we didn’t want.
In the end, we drove off with the car we wanted at a price we felt comfortable with, and the overall experience was exactly what we were hoping for. Pete really understood our perspective and respected how we wanted to approach the process, which made all the difference.
We appreciate the help from Pete and the Enterprise team in getting us into a vehicle we’re genuinely happy with (even more than the one we had before). Experiences like this are why more dealerships should focus on a straightforward, respectful approach to sales.
Thanks again!

Customer service was great at first — friendly, responsive, and helpful. Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ends.
I purchased a Dodge Charger GT that was supposedly “inspected.” On the drive home, the brakes were screaming at highway speed. That’s not a minor issue — that’s basic safety. I returned it within their 3-day policy because I refuse to pay for a vehicle that’s already failing.
They then put me in what they said was a Nissan Frontier PRO-X 2022. The next morning, I realized it was actually an Nissan Frontier SV 2022 — a completely different trim than what I agreed to.
About a month later, a brake caliper fell off while driving. That is not wear and tear — that’s dangerous and unacceptable. When I called, they hid behind their “inspection” claim and refused to take responsibility. Their only solution was for me to bring it back at my own expense — despite living 3 hours away.
Now after around 10,000 miles, I find out one of the tires is a completely different size than the others, causing uneven wear. Again, something that should have been caught before the vehicle was ever sold.
At this point, it’s clear: the “inspection” they advertise is either not done properly or not done at all.
They will treat you well when you’re buying, but once you leave the lot, you’re on your own — even when serious safety issues come up.
Final warning: This was not just a bad experience — it was a pattern of negligence and misrepresentation. I would strongly recommend taking your business somewhere else unless you’re prepared to deal with costly and potentially dangerous problems on your own.
The team is amazing I was stuck in a huge bind walking in and left completely satisfied and 100% a life long customer now Courtney is awesome and very friendly, James has a top of the line ship he's running at Enterprise

My car shopping experience started off pretty frustrating—I didn’t really know what I wanted, and most of the salespeople I dealt with made me feel like I was inconveniencing them instead of being helped.
I ended up going to Enterprise without high expectations and honestly didn’t think I’d be buying a car from them. But their team completely changed that. They were welcoming, personable, and actually took the time to help me without any pressure.
That kind of genuine customer service is what earned my business. If you’re looking for a stress-free car buying experience, I definitely recommend checking them out.
