Made the mistake of going to another shop for state inspection (I did not know GY did these) & the other said I "passed by the skin of my teeth". Showed me a bunch of pictures claiming I had leaks in my rack & pinion steering ($1,800 to replace), my entire exhaust system was rusting out ($2000 to replace) & other assorted "fixes" before my next inspection! Found out GY did inspections, so took it there to see if what the mechanic said was true. Turns out they have a 30+ year Subaru tech there that took 15 minutes to look at it &:say there was no leaks or rusting. The place where it was supposed to be leaking looks like something splashed on there making it look wet. Just got my 2025 inspection & passed with ZERO headaches there! They even caught my serpentine belt about the break from age!
