  I had been going to Lee's Auto for years before we moved out of the neighborhood. We went to a shop closer to us for an inspection and to fix any issues my car might have (19-year-old Honda that has seen some things). Big mistake. The other shop took almost two weeks to give us an estimate and then told us they couldn't do some of the work. We took it back to Mr. Lee and within a couple of hours, he had an estimate of the work and by the next day, had the car fixed. Over the years, Mr. Lee has provided exceptional service. He gives timely estimates, stays within budget or calls if additional work needs to be done. He and his crew get the work done quickly and well. We're very pleased with his work and I will continue to take my car there even though we live 30-45 minutes away.

  I’ve been taking my cars to this shop for a while now, and the service is always excellent and fast. The mechanics are honest, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about doing the job right. They explain everything clearly and never push unnecessary repairs. My car runs better than ever—highly recommend!

  They've done great work in the past, so I'm giving them an extra star, but my recent experience with them left me disappointed enough to rate them 2. I needed a new set of tires and an alignment, so i celled them up, they told me they'd call me back with a price, they didn't, I had to call them 2 days later, where they claimed they never agreed to call me back (so I guess in their mind we just hung up with no pricing and no next step?) They quoted me the current market price for the tires over the phone, so I told them to proceed and prepaid for the tires and alignment, they were able to take me in the next day. When I picked up the car, they tell me I owed an extra $300 than what I prepaid, which was supposed to be in full. It turns out they were charging me about $50 more per tire than agreed upon, and of course, they deny quoting me the lower price. The tires ended up being way more expensive than I could have gotten online and shipped to another shop (this place doesn't take tires from tirerack). I needed the car back so I paid it, but it all felt very predatory and bait and switchy. Also, when I asked for an alignment report, they claimed their printer was down and they could not provide it, so I guess I'm just crossing my fingers that the alignment was actually done, as there's no real way to check myself. The communications on the phone are not clear at all, lots of repeating was needed, not sure if it's a bad phone or a language barrier, but it sure helps them claim miscommunication in their favor later. They do fine work are generally friendly, and were able to do my car quickly, but if you get any work done here, make sure you get everything quoted in writing before starting the work, so you have some backup if they try to overcharge you later.
