There were THREE employees standing in the store, doing nothing urgent. Despite this, I was told they “cannot leave one person alone in the store” and therefore refused to help me. This excuse is completely absurd. With three employees present, there is no logical reason why basic customer service could not be provided. It was clear that they simply did not want to do the work. Advance Auto Parts advertises battery installation, but in reality this location makes up excuses to avoid helping customers. I wasted my time, drove to the store for nothing, and was treated like my business did not matter at all. If this is how this company operates, they should stop advertising services they clearly have no intention of providing. One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Avoid this location.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.
How much does a car battery cost?

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
