- JWJackson Westhoff1 day ago1.0My appointment was rescheduled 4 times due to faulty windshields (I understand that’s mainly on the supplier, but still ridiculous). Then when appointment day finally came, my technician was late to work and I overheard the front desk associates saying how unacceptable it is that the technician showed up late and after the customer showed up. Once the tech finally arrived and did my windshield, he rushed due to being late and left dirt all over my dashboard and I found a GLASS SHARD on my seat. There also was rubber trim sticking out as there wasn’t any attention to detail to the install. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

They run this shop like it’s a white gloves drivers club. Both of my cars are well cared for collectibles and they made sure everything was perfect. And it was!

They did a mobile repair for me in Sept of 2023 using OEM glass, and it looked better than when I bought the vehicle new. Unfortunately, that windshield met a large rock recently, but Safelite was there to help. This time, due to the cold, I dropped the vehicle off for service (and my office is nearby). The car was ready by lunch time, and was perfectly done. Safelite vacuumed the inside after the service as well, which was a very pleasant surprise/courtesy.

The automated customer service routing is insane and hard to get a hold of someone that can provide an update if theres an issue. I personally called the shop at least 10 times trying to get get an update on whats going on and no one would take responsibulity. In the end, the glass was replaced and the tech was great but only after they had called me on a random day saying that they would show up with 30 minutes notice, good think I wasn't working that day otherwise I would have missed it. 1/10 on management 10/10 on the tech, he did a good job.
