Employee over the phone assured me that there will be no charges to get the car checked - only if the car requires work, and a cost estimate would be provided first. I even called back again to confirm, and they assured me that I can just bring in my car. I took time off from work to make it to this appointment only to arrive and be told that I need to pay between $94-140 just to have someone take a look at the car. It was initially $140, but after I explained to them the situation, they reduced it to $94. I left and went to another Mr Tire location 20 minutes later where the car was checked with no upfront charges. They then came to confirm the work that needs to be done, provided a cost estimate, and asked if I'd like to proceed. Clearly the Lee Hwy location was either not transparent over the phone (two different employees over the phone) or they were attempting to take advantage on the spot. One of the two.

Stay away from this place
