  Fast in, fast out. Shuttles always cranking out of the rental lot, but drivers picking up at the terminal can be temperamental later at night. Twice this year was told I couldn’t get on bus because it was full but there was room.

  5 Stars for National Car Rental IAD: Seamless Service and Stellar Staff! After a long drive to Dulles (IAD), the last thing I wanted was a headache at the rental counter, but National Car Rental delivered one of the best, most seamless experiences I've ever had. They continue to set the gold standard in airport car rental, making the typically tedious process quick, efficient, and genuinely pleasant. When I arrived, the immediate feeling of relief was real. As an Emerald Club member, I got to completely bypass that long line of people, walk straight to the Emerald Aisle, and personally choose my ride. Having that level of control is fantastic! The car I snagged was flawless—super clean, low-mileage, and exactly what I needed for my week of travel in the DC area. The Drop & Go return was equally fast, confirming the consistent efficiency of this location. However, the highlight of this experience was my interaction with Oussama, a true professional at the counter. I had created a confusing mix-up with my reservation—you know, the kind of small detail that usually sends you back inside to wait in a 30-minute line. Oussama didn't hesitate. He immediately took ownership of the problem, handling the details with the most patient and knowledgeable demeanor. His calm, cheerful attitude was a breath of fresh air, and he sorted out the confusing contract in less than five minutes. He genuinely saved me a lot of stress right before I hit the road. Excellent travel experiences are built on efficiency and courtesy, and Oussama delivered both perfectly. If you are flying into Dulles and need reliable car rental paired with world-class service, National is the only choice.   The National Rental Car team at IAD is next level. The check in process was so easy as usual and the team went above and beyond when I returned the car and forgot a few items in the rental. After I called to let them know they were able to get my items to a coworker on a later flight. They made this process so easy especially with the stress of traveling. Just wanted to say thank you again for helping me get my items back and making the process stress free. Best rental car company ever!
