May 2024 listened to advice of associate at the local AutoZone in Culpeper Virginia Regarding battery selection for a jet ski. Apparently I was sold a bad battery. I am not a mechanical person, but tried unsuccessfully to get this battery to work in an older model Jetski. The jet ski sat all of 2024 because I could not figure out the issue as I’m not a mechanical person. Had someone look at it this summer And was told the battery was not working properly- have not had a chance to go by the AutoZone until today as I’m not in that area often and the manager was pleasant, but said there was nothing she could do to help because of when the product was purchased, which I understand however, once tested, the battery was shown to be a faulty battery with faulty components and would not hold a charge . The manager stated because of the timeframe there was nothing she could do. To me it feels like this battery should be sent back to the manufacturer as this is the reason I was not able to get the jet ski working in the first place. When you buy a product from a store that specializes instead products you expect that you’re getting a quality product and that you’re being given the best advice possible by people trained to sell this type of product. Super disappointing would Not shop at this AutoZone again as there are plenty of other auto parts stores to shop with

Called yesterday to see if they had some parts in stock for my focus. Brandon is who I spoke with on the phone and he was great! He was knowledgeable and I’ll definitely be coming to this auto zone from now on.

I want to leave a review about Jason who works at AutoZone to Culpeper. He helped me when my car light was out and he put it in for me. His customer service skills were excellent.

Update 9/25: got a call from the regional manager. Hopefully things will get better. Can’t get much worse. He was super apologetic and listened to all complaints and concerns. Promised change and improvement of customer service. 5 people working and only one willing to help those in line. Waited 15 min to pick up a part I already paid for. One old man in a cowboy hat walked around and saw everyone waiting in line and never said anything or offered to help. Another lady was putting up window clings outside while looking at everyone standing in line. The one check out lady finally came back out and checked one person out. The old man asked where so and so is and she said outside working on the windows. The he disappeared outside never to be seen again. Then the guy working the commercial sales came out and tried to pull the one person checking out to help him at commercial sales. In between that one guy came in walking his scooter from outside and never jumped in to help once back on the clock. Wild. Customer service is not top priority here.
