I was a little taken aback, especially since there were no other cars in the bays. It wasn’t busy, and the service didn’t seem backed up at all. I ended up driving about five minutes down the road to another shop and got a full synthetic oil change for just $70, way less than what Jiffy Lube quoted me. I’m left wondering if the price discrepancy was just this location's standard, or if the employee was just trying to rush me off, maybe because he was about to head for a smoke break. Either way, the whole experience felt pretty unprofessional and honestly, it was frustrating to get such a high quote without any flexibility or even a proper explanation. In the future, I’ll definitely be looking elsewhere for my oil changes. There’s no reason I should be treated like that, especially when I’m willing to pay for a service that I’ve used before.
