Worst place I ever rented a car from, and I’ve rented cars from some pretty sketchy places before. They have a new branch manager that has ZERO customer service skills. She put ZERO effort into my problem and had ZERO compassion for my problem. When I told her that the calls were being recorded, she replied something about threatening her…..there was no threat, I was just reminding her that the calls are recorded because she told me Friday there was no end date for insurance covering my rental, and then 2 days later charge my card $200 without as much as a phone call. After talking with the insurance company, they informed me that there was no end date, so I called Enterprise back only to have the same rude, CLEARLY incompetent employee, who was a manger. She refused to give me her name, only “Jess, from the Colonial Heights office ” and that’s the name she gave me for when I call the corporate office. Very unprofessional and that’s a little surprising because it’s such a large company. After talking with USAA, who is the insurance company coving my repairs and rental.( AMAZING insurance company, every single person I’ve spoke to has been the best experience I’ve ever had with any company for any reason) They informed me that, that particular Enterprise branch has given them many issues recently, and that that particular branch had a manager overturn every 4-6 months. Which is not surprising at all. The accident I was in wasn’t my fault at all, when my car went into the shop Enterprise was supposed to pick me up at the shop at 9am….at 9:30am still no Enterprise, shortly after someone from Enterprise pulls in but they aren’t even there for me…they are there for someone else, who wasn’t even there…Thankfully it was a nice man who took us to the branch to get a car. He told us on the way how they just got a new manager and everything is all chaotic… when we got back to the office there was 1 other customer there. 5 Enterprise employees including my driver just sitting around, including the new manager. She was sitting with another employee at his desk, smiling all up in his face. Back before my car went into the shop, which we were waiting on parts because my car was still drivable, that branch called my phone everyday asking when we needed a car, each time telling them we weren’t sure, that the shop would let me know and I’d let them know. And still they kept calling to ask…HOWEVER, no call AT ALL to let me know insurance wasn’t gonna pay for rental or anything, just hit my card for $200, and then act like IM the problem when I call to ask what’s going on. They clearly have HUGE communication issues, and honestly they create more stress and anxiety in a time when people need patience, compassion and understanding. To everyone out there, if you ever have another option OTHER than Enterprise, then please save yourself a lot of unnecessary headaches and get a car from ANYWHERE else.
