I have been taking my cars to Blue Ridge locations for 10 years and have generally been very happy with the service from Blue Ridge until my visit yesterday. Jamie at the Rhodes location and Brian at Cloverdale location have always been great advisors who went the extra mile and were the reason I keep coming back. I understand Brian recently left. I wait with my car when I get oil change and tire rotations, and it has never taken more than an hour. Yesterday, it took an hour and 45 minutes. At multiple points I heard loud music and yelling coming in from the bays (the door to the waiting area was closed). At one point, the service advisor said I would need new tires soon. After asking if I wanted the same tires on the car (which I said no, I want nicer tires), he gave me a quote for the same tires that came from the factory. Previous advisors have provided a few helpful recommendations and listened -- it was clear that what I was saying did not matter. This was an absolutely bizarre experience from start to finish, and I sincerely hope it is a one-off occurrence. But if it happens again, I'll need to search somewhere else for service.

I spent over $2,100 with this shop in January 2025 to fix a misfire issue. It took multiple visits — including having to tow the truck back to them — before they said it was finally resolved. In reality, the misfire was never fully fixed. The engine code continued to come and go even after their “repair.” Fast forward to March 2026, and I’m dealing with the exact same issue again. The truck has barely been driven since that repair, so this isn’t normal wear and tear — it’s clearly an unresolved problem. I brought it back expecting them to stand behind their work. They spent about a half hour looking at it, then called to say everything they previously did was fine and that it must be a different issue. I was then told I’d need to pay another diagnostic fee (around $180) just for them to investigate further. Given that I paid over $2,100 for this exact issue less than 15 months ago, it’s unreasonable to be asked to pay another diagnostic fee just to look into the same unresolved problem. To be fair, the technician Trey was great to work with. However, management handled the situation poorly and showed no accountability for a costly repair that never fully resolved the issue. After spending that kind of money and dealing with multiple trips — including towing — I expected better. I wasn’t even asking them to fix it for free; I simply asked them to take a deeper look, and I would have gladly paid for any additional parts or labor needed. Instead, I chose to take my truck elsewhere. USE CAUTION.

Took my work van here to get an alignment. They said they had to change some parts to get it to aligned when I got the van back, it still wouldn’t hold alignment
