  I switched to having normal maintenance and repairs done with Mr. Tire after several horrible experiences with Shelor. Jacob is always friendly, honest, and takes the time to explain exactly what needs to be done, how much it will cost, and timeframe for when they can actually complete the work. As a woman it can be hard to find a shop that doesn't try to take advantage of you just because they think you don't know any better, and Mr. Tire is it!

  They were very accommodating and respectful to me as a woman customer. Most places treat like we are idiot blondes.

  Huge shout out to Jacob at Mr.Tire. I had originally scheduled at a different auto service center in the area online, when I showed for my appointment there (Tire Discounters), it seems there was an issue with my online booking and it was scheduled somewhere else. At that facility, it seemed I was an inconvenience to the person “assisting” me, and the quote tire discounters gave me vs online was a stark $350 difference. So in my frustration, I quickly got online at 6 pm and booked at Mr.Tire because they had the exact tires I was planning to get at TireDiscounters for around the same price I was originally quoted. Upon arriving at 6:30 at Mr.Tire, I realized I missed a call from Mr.Tire informing me that they couldn’t complete my full tire replacement today as they close at 7. I came inside, and spoke with Jacob. It was clear they were very busy (this was a Friday evening after all), but he stepped aside to help me. Although he was clearly swamped with vehicles in his bays already, he spent a good 10 minutes with me, setting me up for my tire replacement, and recommending a different brand of tire, as it got me the better deal. Overall- Jacob treated me like my business mattered. He helped me find the best deal for my budget ($400 difference from the other tire place), and we were able to work around his fully booked day, to fit my vehicle in for service. Jacob also didn’t try and intentionally push other services onto me, he did tell me the offer many services aside from Tires, but he didn’t try to pressure me into getting more services than I was requesting. Overall, I did a lot of research on tires and our local auto service centers, and Mr.Tire in Christiansburg is a top contender and they will be my new auto service provider in the future.   Jacob was very nice and gave me the information I requested about tires. I got two tires an oil change and was supposed to get my mirror looked at because it’s loose. One of the tires has a problem so I have to go to get it re checked. They forgot to look at my mirror and forgot to put a sticker on the windshield for the oil change. They were overbooked and a man down so they did the best they could either the resources they had available.

  Ended up with a flat tire after the winter weather blessed us with plenty of large potholes. Called to see if they had my tire size in stock (they did) and asked if I could have it towed to the shop. They fit me in and I have 2 new tires that were fairly priced. Everyone was incredibly friendly and easy to work with. Thank you for helping me get back on the road!
