This past January my battery died, and AutoZone refused to replace it, telling me to either take it to a mechanic or "ask a friend". Fast forward to now, the battery is about to die. I went back to this AutoZone to get a free new battery, only because it is under warranty. Just like the first time in January, this lady took one look at it and said she could not do it. She said if they could replace it themselves, I would have to give them 200$ for the new battery, somehow get it replaced, and bring the old battery back to get my 200$ back. Why on earth would I do that? She told me to come back the next day, and that someone would be there who had the skillset to change it. Steven or Stephen, not sure the spelling, replaced my battery for me. I appreciate him making my experience with this specific AutoZone a better one by helping me out. Make sure they can actually replace the battery before buying one at AutoZone. If not, they charge you.
