Pricing seems shady. This is my second time to this location. The first time there were two other cars charging, it was before 8:00 a.m.,, and I was getting charged speeds around 87 kW per hour. This time I'm the only car charging. It's after 8:00 a.m., the rates have gone up and the charge speed has gone down. My highest charge speed is 48 kW per hour and my battery has been preconditioned. These are 100 kW chargers, and my ionic 5 is capable of taking much faster charge speeds than that. Why so slow?

There is construction going on in the parking lot, so the only access is down by the ABC store. Much faster than the old chargers.

The bad reviews made me nervous so I’m here to encourage you. I used the Annawan charger today with absolutely no issues. Can’t speak to the others but if that one is available- it should be smooth sailing. There’s a grocery store and a hallmark store there to help you pass the time. It is the slowest of the “fast” chargers (so only 50 kWh) but it gets the job done. I also called EVgo customer service on the way to make sure it was going to work (again - because of the reviews) and they answered right away and were incredibly helpful.
