    An all around good place to rent a car. The fleet is well maintained and there's usually a very good selection of vehicles to choose from. Most importantly, the staff is friendly and helpful, which is very much appreciated when you just got off a delayed flight across the country.

    The clerk at the counter quoted me a price and when I clarified if it was per day or total, he assured me it was the total. Turns out it was per day. Requests to get further clarification have been met with silence. Will never rent from them again.

    Check out was straightforward and easy. The agent made great suggestions that were helpful. Car did have low windshield wiper fluid. Disappointed that I needed to have a cord to make Apple CarPlay work, but it did work flawlessly once I got the cord installed. Check in also was fast and smooth. Would have been good to be reminded to leave the key in the car. I forgot and returned back from the terminal to return it. Car drove very well and was comfortable and clean. Highly recommend.

    Every time I have rented a vehicle through National it has been an easy process, the cars are in excellent condition, and the staff have consistently been courteous and professional. Full disclosure, I am an emerald club member, so I just go to the vehicle, hop in, and drive away. Still though, terrific organization and support.

    The personnel we interacted with were knowledgeable and responsive to our needs both in person and on the phone. The vehicle we rented was clean and operated satisfactorily. Kathy Matthews at DCA was exceptional in communicating with us regarding our reservation when our flight was cancelled. Kathy should be recognized for her exceptional customer service!
