  Experienced Enterprise responding to a customer surviving a tire blow out in rush hour traffic with only concern for their bottom line. Most alarming, this location did not investigate the cause or ensure no other trucks have compromised tires. Today I used Enterprise Truck rental for the first time for a local move of 11 miles. I was really appreciating the positive experience from the service rep at the location to the truck. Transitting to the unload location, the last two blocks there was a gunshot like sound and the truck severely fishtailed throwing the movers riding with me against the cab side. One mover was clearly in pain from the jolt. There was no where to pullover before the residence. When we arrived we immediately saw that the rear passenger tire had blown out. I am able to put my foot part way into the tire. After the excellent experience with Enterprise, I knew that they would prioritize the customer and ensure I am able to complete my move. I immediately called to let them know the truck had a blowout. And the rep let me know that Enterprise finds customers at fault for blowouts. REALLY??? The repair person is here and is floored by the severity of the blowout. He further noted manufacture defects in the tire of pits down to the threading. I do not feel safe in an Enterprise truck. I do not know how I am going to finish this move let alone deal with Enterprise money grabbing. FOLLOW UP: I reached out to Enterprise as requested in their reply to this review. The response was a call from the location manager within a few days. The manager presented as if he was concerned by the events immediately offering to refund the rental then asked how else could Enterprise compensate. I requested $500, since I will not require moving services in the near future. He called back same day with a different disposition stating only a refund is available since Enterprise incurred a cost of $600 to repair tire. And he doesn't understand how the tire failed, because it was a new truck. In other words, Enterprise did not investigate the cause of the blowout. They have not quality assurance verified their tires to ensure no other trucks have severely degraded tires. And a billion dollar company is not willing to compensate a customer $500. For your safety do not rent from this location and consider if Enterprise Truck rental is the best choice.
