When I suggested identity verification through the police, that was declined, yet I was oddly told a paper DMV document would be accepted. I was instructed to return with my physical ID and was not told of any other requirements. After spending hours locating my ID and returning before closing now during rush hour I was assisted by Keith, who was dismissive, unhelpful, and lacked professionalism. I was informed that only a Hyundai was available, despite having an insurance-approved reservation and rate already provided to Enterprise. On this second visit the same day, I was suddenly told a deposit was required, something never disclosed earlier, even when I stated I would be returning. Because insurance was paying, this requirement was unexpected and prevented the rental from moving forward. When I asked why this was not communicated initially and requested a supervisor, Keith stated he was the manager and resisted escalating the issue. After multiple requests, I spoke with Nick, who offered a brief apology but no resolution or accountability. As a result, I had to return to Mercedes-Benz Collision for the second time and postpone my vehicle repairs entirely right before the holidays. The lack of transparency, empathy, and basic customer service at this location was unacceptable. I felt dismissed and treated differently, which was deeply concerning. I have had far better experiences with Enterprise at DC locations, but I would never rent from this branch again and strongly caution others.
